Happy Monday!!!
We are all about COLOR this week!! If you have a 6th or 7th grader in my class, please send them with a paint shirt the rest of this week. 8th graders will need it next week.
To prepare us for the color wheel, we discussed color in history and created a color wheel with colored pencils today (Monday).
Here are two examples of past color wheels....
8th grade torn paper with embellishments (of the students' choice - this is not mandatory!)
Painted color wheel with tints and shades (6th grade).
Students really love this week. It's not only our introduction to color but our first painting project.
